We install cold-climate heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, ducted multi-zone systems, and carry out traditional heat pumps to electric conversions.
Ductless mini-splits double as year-round heating and cooling - the most popular upgrade we install across. Central A/C suits homes with existing ductwork & high-velocity systems if you don't need wall demolition.
Most NYC & Long Island homes predate modern insulation standards and have never been air sealed. Our BPI-certified team finds exactly where your home leaks energy and fixes it - cellulose, spray foam, rigid board, or full air sealing.
Heat pump models use up to 70% less electricity than a standard electric tank. Tankless systems eliminate standby heat loss, deliver continuous hot water, and last 20-plus years.
New York City has hundreds of HVAC contractors. What most of them cannot do is offer BPI-certified home performance work, file your Con Edison Clean Heat rebates as a registered participating contractor, and install your heating, cooling, insulation, and water heater as a single coordinated project.
Heating, cooling, insulation, air sealing, water heaters, and energy audits – all from one certified crew. One call, one project manager, one quality standard across every trade.
Our technicians hold Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst certification – the highest professional credential in home energy performance work in the United States.
As a Con Edison Participating Contractor, we apply your rebate directly against your invoice at the point of installation. You do not wait for a cheque. The discount comes off your project cost upfront.
Our NYSERDA approval gives your project access to the Clean Heat program, EmPower+ income-qualified funding, and Comfort Home incentives that non-registered contractors cannot process on your behalf.
We install only ENERGY STAR certified equipment. This is not optional for us it is the minimum standard required to qualify for Con Edison and NYSERDA rebates, and the right choice for long term efficiency
Income-qualified NYC households may receive upgrades at no upfront cost through Con Edison and EmPower+ programs. For all others, we offer buy-now-pay-later financing through our lending partners.
Delivering measurable results with thousands of NYC homes upgraded, maximizing rebates, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction through reliable, efficient, and expert energy solutions

Important:
Con Edison rebate amounts are subject to change. Note that EmPower+ and HEEHRA federal rebates cannot be combined on the same equipment.
We built our process around one principle: remove every obstacle between you and a better, more affordable & comfortabe home. From the day you call us to the day your Con Edison rebate is confirmed, here is exactly what happens.
A BPI-certified technician visits your home anywhere in the five boroughs. We conduct a blower door test to measure air leakage, use infrared thermal cameras to find insulation gaps you cannot see, and inspect your heating and cooling system for safety and efficiency. This takes 2-3 hours and costs you nothing.
We present a written report listing where your home is losing energy, which upgrades will deliver the biggest improvement, and exactly which Con Edison and NYSERDA rebates your household qualifies for. You see your full project cost with and without rebates applied, side by side.
There is no obligation after the assessment. If you decide to proceed, we schedule installation at a time that works for you - typically within one to two weeks of approval for most borough locations.
Our own licensed and insured team carries out all work. We do not subcontract. Every job is managed by a certified technician and completed to BPI and New York City building code standards. Most single-zone installations are done in one day.
As a Con Edison Participating Contractor, we deduct qualifying rebate amounts directly from your final invoice. We then submit any additional NYSERDA paperwork on your behalf. You do not fill in forms, chase programme offices, or wait for reimbursement on rebates we apply at point of sale.
Always On Energy operates a single licensed and insured team across all five boroughs of New York City. Every borough page below includes neighbourhood-level content, local rebate eligibility notes, and borough-specific contact information.
The first step is free and takes less than a phone call to arrange. A BPI-certified technician comes to your home - anywhere in the five boroughs - conducts a full energy assessment, and gives you a clear picture of what is costing you money and what Con Edison and NYSERDA will pay to fix it.
